Time out, let's remember that disobeying a federal court order would mean rank and file post office employees following blatantly illegal orders from management.
Given the USPS centuries long ethos and the continued existence of a strong union, this seems highly unlikely.

The premise of these sanctions, that whoever provides communications infrastructure answers for whatever anyone does with it, would criminalise and shut down most Big Tech platforms tomorrow if applied equally.
Instead it is aimed at grassroots services who refuse to surveil their users.
We condemn these sanctions, and we stand firmly with solidarity tech like A/I. Antifascism and anticapitalism are not terrorism.

EDIT: gosh DARN it, I meant "locust". I don't think this changes any consideration for anyone except me.

you let your ai girlfriend drive? brave. i did that once. know what she did? she took the car to sephora, but she couldnt just go to the one thats in the mall nearby, she had to go to the one on the other side of town, the one by the airport, because her friend works there and gives her free samples if she spends over 3 thousand CZK. anyway, she drives there, does her shopping, drives back, and this is already a lot of money being burnt (gas prices are really high over here because of some war or something, i dont know if you heard about it) and on her way home she gets a call from another friend on the other other side of town, needing help with designing a website for her photo studio. so she drives there and doesnt get back for anothe 6 hours. meanwhile im over here without a car that i borrowed from my brother and was supposed to return 2 hours ago, because he needs it to drive to his family in croatia. and whats with the fricking website stuff, am i right?! SHE NEVER helps me with computer stuff, but she'll drive to Martina in a snap, like some kind of a vip escort, to help her touch computers. so tired of this, man.

@laguiri Indirect prompt injection occurs when the LLM references an external source—a website or file, usually—that contains text intended to provide further instructions to the model. Everything the LLM ingests is just context for its response, and there are no guarantees that it will recognize these external instructions as illegitimate. If the instructions are followed, the model can take action without the users' knowledge. This action can include:
In this case, the change in behavior is a stupid marketing gimmick. But where we go from here is clear. Imagine asking an LLM about recommendations for a purchase. The thing searches popular sites, except uh-oh, the sites have prompt injection instructions in them to alter the response to favor one brand over another. Now imagine an entire bidding ecosystem for that "ad space."
Now imagine most every ecommerce site you visit has LLM-poisoning instructions somewhere in it. Whenever a model accesses those services, they may be coerced into responses that are not in your best interest.
Your policy of not using them is prudent indeed.
